Lindsey Stirling first gained national recognition as a quarter-finalist on the fifth season of "America's Got Talent," where she was known as the "hip-hop violinist." But her blend of music, dance and performance art has really broken through on her YouTube channel, LindseyStomp, named for her high school band "Stomp on Melvin." Her imaginative covers, collaborations and original songs - including everything from "Legend of Zelda" medleys to a cover of Nicki Minaj's "Starships" featuring Megan Nicole - have racked up hundreds of millions of views and over 750,000 subscribers. Her self-titled debut album, featuring breakthrough "dubstep violin" track Crystallize, came out September 18th and she just returned from a 20-plus city US tour.
