This webinar will share the experiences of three community colleges from Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin who participated in the inaugural cohort of the College Belonging and Connection for Families (CBCF) Initiative. Each college received funding, collaborative guidance, research support, and inclusion in a peer cohort and will share (1) a new resource and activity in action, (2) the application of research evidence, and (3) resulting policy change. Additional research will be showcased that demonstrates the importance of college programs and policies to parenting student belonging, wellbeing, and success. Members of the advisory team will conclude with an interactive discussion of the implications of this work for institutional and state policy.
