Presented by the Performing Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).
Circus PAWS, an animal-free circus benefiting rescued and retired performing animals, made its debut on September 29 & 30 with three shows at the Avalon Theatre in Hollywood. Through the coordination efforts of the Project One Song youth mentoring program (http://www.onesong.org/), more than 1,000 under-served children from Los Angeles area schools, Boys and Girls Clubs, and police youth programs received complimentary tickets courtesy of generous event sponsors. This special production educated kids and adults alike about the importance of compassion for all beings. Circus PAWS was the dream of PAWS' co-founder the late Pat Derby.
