►South Yorkshire Police have said "we got it wrong and we let victims down' after a long-awaited report into the Rotherham grooming scandal concluded the force "failed to protect vulnerable children".

The police watchdog has been investigating alleged police failures in relation to the abuse, trafficking and grooming of 14-hundred girls in the town between 1997 and 2013.
