This method is a useful way to see if a colony has a queen already or to change the genetics of a hive.
Outcome 1 - Change hive genetics - As described in clip
Outcome 2 - Check Queenless
Place a frame of eggs and young larvae from another colony into the suspect hive. If they draw queen cells the colony was queenless. Select 1 queen cell, destroy the rest or use elsewhere and wait for a new queen If they don't raise queen cells there is likely a queen in there somewhere.
