In this video, I'm going to show you how to make The Thicket Stitch. It's a relatively easy stitch that would look nice as a blanket, shawl, or a scarf. In fact, you could use this stitch for just about any project. What I really like about this stitch is that it looks the same on both sides. How To Make The Thicket Stitch
For The Thicket Stitch you make an even number of chains. For this tutorial, I’m making 22 chains.
Row 1: sc in the 2nd ch from your hook and across the row. You should have 21 ch’s. ch1, turn your work.
Row 2: In the 1st stitch, make a sc and a dc in the same st. Skip the next st, sc & dc in the next st, *(sk the next st, sc & dc in the next st), until the last 2 sts, sk next st, 1 sc in the last st, ch 1, turn your work.
Rep Row 2 until your piece measures 20 inches (or desired length).
*To Make This Head Wrap, leave a long tail (about 24 inches or so), and finish off.
*Thread the tail through a yarn needle
*Sew the two short sides of the head wrap together, finish off and weave in the ends.
