Our client required a solution for end of line packaging for their different formats of fresh trays of ready meals for their customers.
HMPS designed and engineered two customised HMPS5000 Case Packers to meet their requirements. This video shows the 2Kg, 1.3Kg and 350g trays being collated via dual robots prior to being transferred onto either wraparound blanks or a tray and hood configuration.
The system is currently able to package 30 different product types with maximum speeds of 60 ppm and 15 cpm.
