This past season was our second year growing vegetables using the Ruth Stout method, and to say that we saw improvement from the first year would be to greatly diminish just how well we did growing Ruth Stout potatoes.

We were fortunate enough to harvest nearly three times as many potatoes from the same Ruth Stout garden this year than we did last year. We got over 50 pounds of potatoes from about 25 square feet!

We have found the Ruth Stout method to be simple, cost effective, and more, and we want to suggest that you try growing using the Ruth Stout Hay method this year along with us.

We only suggest methods of growing that have been productive and successful for us, and this is an example of a method that is easy, versatile, and should improve for you each year.
