CCM Dance Series presents "Coppélia" (April 4, 2025)

Описание: CCM's Dance Series proudly presents the whimsical ballet "Coppélia," performed by the CCM Ballet Ensemble. The performance featured in this video was originally presented in CCM's Corbett Auditorium on April 4, 2025.

"Coppélia" was originally choreographed by Arthur Saint-Léon and restaged by Marius Petipa. The ballet is set to the music of Léo Delibes, with libretto by Charles-Louis-Étienne Nuitter.

Directed by CCM Dance Department Chair Shauna Steele, this production featured restaging and principal choreography by faculty members Isabele Elefson and Tricia Sundbeck, with additional choreography and coaching by faculty members Thomas Bell and Gema Diaz Lommer.

"Coppélia" featured lighting design by CCM student Ben Niemczyk, sound design by CCM student Lucia Thill and production stage management by CCM student Jordan Shaw.

The ballet's score was performed live by the CCM Concert Orchestra, conducted by faculty member Aik Khai Pung.
