We approached the reissue of this exceedingly rare 45 with the care and precision the recording deserves. An all-analog lacquer was cut by Bernie Grundman in Hollywood, sourced directly from Dick Melvin’s recently uncovered master tapes. The B-side features a previously unissued alternate mix of the song, presented without the overdubbed horns and with a more pronounced, punchier drum and bass presence, offering a fresh perspective on the original recording.
