A self-confessed “dirtbag climber”, Rolfe has spent his life off-grid, on expeditions, and in places most of us will never see. His high-altitude résumé alone includes:

100+ ascents of 6,000m peaks
9 × 7,000m peaks
11 × 8,000m peaks

And that’s only the start.

Rolfe holds the world record for the highest-ever solo rescue, has completed multiple first ascents across almost every continent, and has summited mountains twice in 24 hours. He is also (perhaps his proudest achievement) the only person to have successfully guided two Chiltern Centre teams to the summit of Mount Toubkal in a single year.

Despite the CV, Rolfe is refreshingly grounded — a lover of good books, cold beers, animals of all shapes and sizes, and the card game Shithead (enter at your own risk).

Garth Miller represents the future of high-altitude adventure.

In May 2025, Garth led Mission Everest, a record-breaking expedition that challenged everything we think we know about climbing the world’s highest mountain.

Using speed, science, modern technology, and innovation, Garth and a team of four former Special Forces veterans:

Left home in Henley-on-Thames
Summited Mount Everest
Returned home safely
All in just 7 days

Mission Everest demonstrated a safer, faster, and more sustainable approach to climbing at altitude — reducing risk to climbers and minimising impact on the fragile Himalayan environment.

A former officer in the Royal Gurkha Rifles, Garth has a deep respect for Nepal and its people. When he’s not leading expeditions to 8,000m peaks across Nepal, Tibet, and Pakistan, he balances life as a long-haul airline captain, husband, and father of two.

Despite close calls on Everest and K2, Garth’s hunger for challenge continues — from the Marathon des Sables in the Sahara to jungle expeditions in Borneo.
