Strider was a captain of the Northern Rangers, also known as the Dúnedain of the North, the Dúnedain were lords of long life, great power and wisdom, they protected the paths from the forces of darkness and patrolled the northern lands to hunt and fight against the enemies they encountered. They were considered homeless vagabonds, dangerous people wandering in the woods. The Shire and Bree were defended by them for a long time without their inhabitants knowing it. He was orphaned at a very young age and his mother took him to Rivendell where he grew up under the protection of Elrond, it was not until he was twenty that he really knew his lineage. Eldrond revealed his name to him and told him that he was the son of Arathron II and heir of Isildur, so he decided to leave Rivendell and headed to the Wild Lands where he explored regions for many years, under various identities he achieved recognition and renown traveling and fighting, where He was known as Strider. During all these travels, fate crossed him with Gandalf the Grey, and a great friendship was established between them. At the Council of Elrond, he formed the Fellowship of the Ring in which he participated in the fight against Sauron.
