Competing at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, Papadakis/Cizeron began the dance event with a record-setting rhythm dance score of 90.83, 1.98 points ahead of ROC rivals Sinitsina/Katsalapov in second. They went on to win the free dance as well, setting a new world record for total score (226.98).
