Estrategias de defensoría para ayudarlos a alcanzar las metas de sus estudiantes.

This workshop is an introduction to basic rights in special education and the responsibilities of families of students receiving these services under the law.
Participants will learn:
To become familiar with the special education process and the rights and responsibilities of parents;
To define the different parts of an IEP (Individualized Education Program) document and how they relate to one another;
Advocacy strategies to help them achieve their students' goals.
