The Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ) will Dialogue for Development Distinguished Lecture will be held under the theme, “Harnessing the Shift: Reimagining a Sustainable Future”, February 26, 2026.
The lecture will focus on potential development actions to address Jamaica’s current demographic trends, which are marked by stagnant population growth and an ageing population.
The featured lecturer is Dr Jose Miguel Guzman, an internationally recognized specialist in population dynamics, poverty and climate change adaptation, ageing, and sexual and reproductive health.
