Описание: In 2024 the East Wicklow Rivers Trust with funding from Inland Fisheries Ireland engaged RIVUS Ecological Engineering to design and build a rock ramp in the Ballinglen River to overcome a barrier for migrating fish at the Ballinglen Bridge. This project was made possible through a collaboration between East Wicklow Rivers Trust, Inland Fisheries Ireland, Wicklow County Council, LAWPRO, National Parks and Wildlife Service and the local landowners. To celebrate World Fish Migration Day on the 23rd May 2025 and as part of National Biodiversity Seek we held a webinar to share some knowledge on the project.
