It's very important to use dry diethylether and dry glassware otherwise low yields are observed.
The phenyllithium is extremely reactive and pyrophoric so have fire extinguisher nearby, the diethylether is extrmeley flammable and volatile so no flames and sparks!!
The reaction is pretty straightforward and easy to do if you have the chemicals and glassware and the luminescent reaction with TCPO is beautiful.
