Welcome back, Beginner Group Piano Students!
In Lesson 7, we learned all about steps and skips on the piano.
A step happens when two white keys are played right next to each other (that’s called a 2nd interval).
A skip happens when we skip over a white key and play every other key (that’s called a 3rd interval).
In the Goldilocks workbook, our new song is called Climbing the Stairs—and just like the name, this piece uses steps to move the melody higher and higher up the piano!
