Alleghanys (1) to Alouette (16) is a ski run of varying difficulties located at Mont Sutton. The trails run from the top of Lift IV, just below the summit of the ski area, down to the main base area and Chalet Alt. 400 m. The run begins to the skiers' left of the top of the lift on Alleghanys, an intermediate trail that runs along the top of the mountain and features a series of small drops and stunning views. After passing by the top of Lift II, the run continues onto Alouette, an intermediate trail that features a series of gentle drops. After passing by the top of Lift II Ouest, the trail's rating changes to beginner and the run gently continues down the rest of the mountain before reaching the base area.
Mont Sutton is a ski area located in Sutton, Quebec. The resort is located in the province's southern Eastern Townships region, just north of the international border with the US state of Vermont, and an easy 90-minute drive southeast of Montreal. Mont Sutton is known for its extensive network of gladed trails for all ability levels and high natural snowfall totals. Many intermediate trails and glades can be found at the lower portion of the resort while advanced terrain can be found near the summit and beginners have a dedicated and secluded family zone. The resort continues to be locally owned and offers a no-frills and old-school skiing environment. Mont Sutton is a year-round resort and offers mountain biking, ziplining, and more activities during the summer season.
