HOW CAN YOU COMPAIR WITH THESE DIFFERENCES??? Well, lets try, i'll keep each track double tracked with the same guitar hard panned L and R. I'll make an unfair comparison, everything being the same, only the guitars change. This should give some sort of comparison to how each pickup might sound, shouldn't it? Lets give it a shot. Starting with the Jason Becker Perpetual Burn then SH-14TB Custom 5 and finally a Blackout AHB2! Low gain. Going through a Mesa Boogie Mark IV a RHY 2 (what?), MXR 10 band and Ibanez D1000 (bypassed) in the loop. Miking a Sheffield 1290 with a Senheiser 906, ART USB pre project series. Using Garageband to create the drum track and record the tracks, no EQ or any effects, levels are untouched. Using iMovie.
