We found the Hague SM4 and realized it was a great configuration for a car camera mount. But with none available in the USA for sale, we decided to make one that would do the exact same thing.
With a couple cheap suction cups from amazon, some grip heads and an double ended ball clamp, we t up our car rig the same way.
This video shows where to get the parts and how to set it up. We also demonstrate several different way to mount it on a vehicle.
Aside from being a vehicle mount, it can also be used on any smooth surface, such as granite counters, tile walls and floors or household appliances.
It is an extremely versatile camera mount that is budget friendly and extremely small to store. Anyone could travel with this rig and be ready in minutes to attach a camera to a slew of possible locations including motor vehicles.
