BOEING 747 LANDING on a WET RUNWAY with lots of WATER SPRAY (4K)

Описание: This Boeing 747 of Air Bridge Cargo landed on runway 22L right after a rain shower. During reverse the engines sprayed up lots of water which gave the entire motif an awesome dramatic effect. I really enjoy filming during these weather conditions, it` s just more entertaining when you a B747 land on a wet runway with all these mesmerizing additional special effects.


Right behind the B747 of Air Bridge Cargo a B747-400 of SF Airlines arrived from Changsa in China. In my opinion this is one of the best painted B747` s around and it is always a pleasure to see this fantastic aircraft. SF Airlines usually operates domestic cargo flights in China. As far as I know it can be compared to UPS in the USA, so SF Airlines is the chinese UPS. Two years ago they bought 2 B747 Freighters and right now they use them to connect two european airports to their cargo network in China - Frankfurt and Liege.


The shown B747`s are Boeing 747-400`s. The Boeing 747-400 is a wide-body airliner produced by Boeing Commercial Airplanes, an advanced variant of the initial Boeing 747. The "Advanced Series 300" was announced at the September 1984 Farnborough Airshow, targeting a 10% cost reduction with more efficient engines and 1,000 nmi (1,850 km) more range. Northwest Airlines (NWA) became the first customer with an order for 10 aircraft on October 22, 1985. The first 747-400 was rolled out on January 26, 1988, and made its maiden flight on April 29, 1988. Type certification was received on January 9, 1989, and it entered service with NWA on February 9, 1989.
