Описание: Hi, Rob, from Suburban Pest Management here. Today we're doing some pre-construction termite work. In this instance, the client wasn't able to get us in to do the slab penetration so the pipes have come through the slab. He wasn't able to get us in to actually put the termite proofing around the pipes prior to the concrete slab being poured. In previous years that would have been a big problem because it was very difficult to retrofit a termite management system around the pipes but now thanks to the term seal system, we actually have a ceiling to that we can actually retrofit around the pipes and seal them up to stop termites from being able to come up back whole joint after the slabs being poured. So basically it just involves having a bit of the foam lagging dugout from around the pipe and inserting the sealant into that joint and making sure it's all sealed up around each of the slab penetrations. If there isn't any foam around the pipes it can also be done with a little bit of the concrete chiseled out around each pipe and the same product installed into the crack.
