F/A-18F Super Hornets arrive at Meiringen Air Base for fighter evaluation programme

These jets made the short trip from Payerne Air Base in western Switzerland to #Meiringen as part of the testing and evaluation of Switzerland's future fighter programme known as Air 2030. These two aircraft were using the callsigns RAZOR11 and 12.
The choice for Switzerland was either the Super Hornet, Rafale, Gripen, Typhoon or F-35 Lightning. They chose the F-35 and announced this on June 30 2021.
