Описание: This was our day trip to visit Hoh rain forest in March 2021 to see the moss covered forest. With an average of 140 inches of precipitation each year, Hoh Rain Forest is a lush, green canopy of both coniferous and deciduous species. Mosses and ferns that blanket the surfaces add another dimension to the enchantment of the rainforest. The Hoh is one of the finest remaining examples of temperate rainforest in the United States and is a part of Olympic National Park. Best time to visit is in Feb/March according to me, because that is when the moss is actively growing in Washington.

Next we visited Ruby beach which is also a part of Olympic National Park. If possible plan your visit to Ruby Beach in such a way that you reach just before low tide of that day. Exploring tide pool creatures is a fun activity. Great opportunities for photography here.

We couldn't leave without checking on the Tree of Life. It's a mystery. In spite of the erosion, this tree still stands green, giving all of us a strong message. Live your life to the very possible end. Live every moment in your life! This tree is in the beach side very next to the Kalaloch Campground.
