Dennis Hathcock is the son of William Odell Hathcock Jr, who owned and operated the Plantation Club at the Tennessee / Mississippi state line. His aunt and uncle were Jack and Louise Hathcock who operated the Shamrock Restaurant and Motel across busy highway 45 from the Plantation Club.
This particular video of the series addresses how the Hathcock family became State Line fixtures as well as what gambling and the illegal sale of bonded liquor at the state line establishments were actually like.
