Today is International Day of Friendship, and it feels like the perfect moment to share this song. Last year, around this time, Fluffy and I journeyed to Svalbard, the northernmost inhabited place on Earth, together with my dearest Jorg Leever and Robert Orvalho. We chased the midnight sun, honoured the memory of my late mum, and shared a quiet adventure in the Arctic landscape.
The song is about uncertainty, softness, and learning to let go. Like snow in April, unexpected, fleeting, beautiful, life doesn’t always follow a clear path.
The video blends our own footage from Svalbard, shot mostly by Jorg, with contributions from Tamara Šuša, Bartosz Szałaj, and Bekki Janel. We met Bekki by chance up north and quickly bonded over our plushie babies (yes, they make an appearance too).
