2005-2014 Mustang (GT) BMR Lowering Springs - Drag Review & Install

Functional Performance Upgrade. The BMR lowering springs are designed to lower the ride height of your 2005-2014 Ford Mustang GT. These springs are a crossover spring for great performance as a daily driver or track car. The lowering springs will lower the Mustang’s ride height 1.5-inches, which in turn lowers the center of gravity for better handling, eliminates most of the wheel gap from the factory suspension and gives the Mustang a nice flat level look. The linear spring design has one single rate tension that will help reduce the amount of squat during heavy acceleration, nose-diving while braking and dramatically improves handling during aggressive cornering while on the track, unlike progressive rate springs that have progressive rates of firmness according to the demand of the vehicle.

Simple Construction. The springs are manufactures from chrome silicon high-tensile spring wire and are finished in a bright red powder coat finish. The springs are a linear design and lower the overall stance of the Mustang 1.5-inches ensuring a nice low center of gravity, while maintaining a comfortable ride.

Mid level Installation. The installation is straightforward, but slightly involved. Requiring the removal of the factory suspension, decompressing and remove the factory springs, followed by compressing and installing the new BMR springs. Overall the installation can take about 4 hours to complete with basic hand tools and spring compressors. It’s also recommended that the vehicle have an alignment done after the installation of the springs.
