How to build a DSLR camera trap, by a guy that doesn't know how to build one...

Описание: The third and final part of my wildlife photography series from the home. Over the past few weeks I have discovered a surprising amount of potential photography subjects in my garden. Foxes, rats, sparrows, spiders, bees and badgers to name a few.


Finding the badgers and foxes so early on using a cheap trail camera encouraged me to take the plunge and build myself a DSLR camera trap. Although there are some excellent off the shelf setups on the market, I couldn't afford them and so I have put this together on a budget. I have borrowed some items from very kind friends, and shopped around to find cheap alternatives where possible.


This is by no means a top quality how to video but hopefully it provides some of you with some inspiration to make your own.

Side note, you may notice I have stopped putting adverts in the middle of videos. I don't like that it breaks up the viewing so much but of course I loose a bit of revenue. I want to move towards this as a career, making videos about the amazing wildlife this world has to offer and inspiring people to engage with it.
