Fist up is a point i forgot to mention on the blade of this SPITS, around the classic spyderco thumb hole there is a lot of scratches. It arrived to me in that condition, i feel that was caused in its previous life from just the opening and closing action with perhaps some grit or stuff on the fingers. it doesnt bother me as the rest of the blade seems in perfect nic !


This is one of my truly grail knives that i diddnt think that i would own. Purely for the fact that they are so highly sought after that when they go up for sale, the go in almost seconds !!


Also there was the price to deal with which i had to sell off a load of my collection to pay for this one, But boy was it worth it ! For something i can carry in the uk and is such a lovely knife, i cant argue with that at all.


The titanium Mike Read tumbled scales (which where anodised blue from the factory), are not only beautiful and add a little bit of gri with those holes. But also offer a little lightness, but the true measure is the story with this knife. The story that it has been back to the legendary designer Mike for some added sexyness on such a blade is just the perfect story to go with it. Now its new home is with me ! I still cant belive it !


The N690Co steel is a great everyday steel for sure, the amount it has been through in my week of using it, along with the previous owner carl ( who admittidly said he diddnt use it too much ) i think i will happily use this every day. ll it need is a little strop to bring back that slicy action and we are good to go for a little longer !
