Memphis Animal Services offer three levels of volunteering, and by watching this video, you complete the first step toward becoming a Level 1 Volunteer!
Level 1:
First step for all new volunteers
Online orientation makes it very easy to get started from the comfort of your home anytime
Level 1 volunteers don’t do direct animal handling
Open to volunteers under 18
You can choose to progress to Level 2 if you want direct animal handling, or stay at Level 1 forever!
Ready to get started as a Level 1 volunteer? Complete two easy steps:

Once your application is approved (usually within 24 hours), you’ll receive an email with instructions. After that, you can come to the shelter and start volunteering!
