A recent purchase from UK Departure Boards (https://ukdepartureboards.co.uk) is this OLED display screen that can show real-time information for nearly all UK and Ireland railway stations (excluding Northern Ireland), London Underground / Docklands Light Railway stations, bus stops and some tram stops. The video demonstrates a typical National Railway (Derby Station), London Underground (Piccadilly line eastbound at Piccadilly Circus) and bus (Derby Victoria Street) setup that the board can emulate.
Although the board is capable of playing rail announcements, a subscription service is required for this feature (along with other customisations), and so I tend to use the Rail Announcements website (https://railannouncements.co.uk) featuring announcements voiced by the late Phil Sayer and Celia Drummond as an alternative.
This video was recorded on the 10th December 2024; hence, the use of sleigh symbols that appear automatically on the National Rail option.
