This reminds about Hat in Time's deathwish mode. Wanna make bosses harder? Add more SHOCKWAVES. No that's not enough, add EVEN MORE SHOCKWAVES.

Without Satan, these bosses weren't too difficult. I mean, the 3 main bosses gave me a challenge, but it wasn't anything extraoridnary. With Ring-a-Ding I had more trouble recording the original fight back when the game came out. But then there's Satan.

At first, I wanted to give up and upload the video without no-hitting Satan. It looked impossible to me. But after some time, I realized it's actually doable, although extremely difficult. I think it took me about 25 hours of just doing this fight again and again. So why is it so diffficult?

Well, the original normal mode Satan fight was already very challenging. Although, now that you can skip some of the cutsenes, it became a lot more managable, as you waste less time after a failed attempt.

Now for the SUPER HARD MODE SATAN.

Phase 1: in normal mode the flute attack is the easiest one. The falling imps always fall on your position, so you can just walk back and forth and you'll be safe. But in Hard and Super Hard, the imps alternate between falling on your position and falling randomly and unpredictably. When it's random, it's very hard to react in time. You need to get lucky with how the random imps will fall. During the random part, I try to hide behind Satan. It's NOT a safe spot, but often the imps won't fall there.

For the first flute attack the pattern looks like this: 1st bunch of imps follows you, 2nd falls randomly, 3rd will follow you, the last 2 imps fall randomly. For the second flute attack the order is switched (random - on you - random - on you). Every next flute attack will switch the order.

95% of my attempts ended on Phase 1 thanks to the flute attack.

Bouncing Satan's ass attack - I'm trying to prolong this attack as long as possible by hitting Satan diagonally. This is where you deal most of the damage during phase 1. Not all of Satan's ass is hittable - if you touch the very far sides you'll take damage.

When Satan gets stuck in wall, he recovers much faster in S.H. mode. You can only hit him 6 times max.

When Satan slams the ground, there's a short window where you can hammer vault into him and hit him once. If you do it too early you're guaranteed to get pushed into a shockwave.

Chasing Satan. This part is easy, but I still got hit there a few times... I'm doing it slowly - no point for the unnecessary risk.

Running from Satan. Quite a difficult part. Very easy to make a mistake here. Flying veggies are a true menace.

Phase 2

Fingers... yay, the fingers now have shockwaves too! Hit twice if it's one finger or you're between two fingers. Otherwise hit once.

Rocks - right corner is the safe spot.

Bouncing Mega-Demons. A very difficult attack. The falling imps alternate between faliing randomly and falling on your position. It's safer to clutch into demons when you know the imps are going to fall on your position. You need to hit each of 4 Mega-Demons 3 times.

Fingers 2 - they are FAST. Especially after you hit them a few times. But at least this time Satan will always use 1 - 2 - 3 fingers in order, not randomly.

Bouncing Mega-Demons 2 - less delay between falling triple imps. And balls don't bounce as high up as before, but you only need to kill 2 demons.

Legs - more shockwaves. This part is not as easy as it looks, so I need to be slow and careful with each clutch.

Final Phase

Part 1 - Stay right below the eyes and clutch at the last moment before they shoot.
Part 2 - This part is not difficult, but again, I'm playing it safe. I REALLY didn't want to fail there. Also my heart was probably beating at about 200 BPM, which was very distracting. I actually messed up and got captured by a crown once but i got out safely. If I got hit there, I would've threw my monitor out the window.
