Piloted by John Andretti, this car won the opening race of the season at the Gold Coast IndyCar Grand Prix, as well as taking 5 at the Indianapolis 500.
This 1991 Model Lola Indy car has recently been run in vintage events with SVRA, HSR, and other organizations for racing such vintage racers. It is powered by the Ilmor-Chevy 265A turbocharged V8. I know what you are thinking, who can you get to work on that? Good news, it was recently completely rebuilt by VDS Racing, and only has about 3 hours on it since the overhaul. The car has been professionally maintained by knowledgeable Indy Car technicians, with it’s only modification since the Hall-VDS days being a shift light.
