A Kampala woman is accusing police of preventing her from getting justice in the death of her son, Alvin Nyanja, who died at a hostel in Mbuya, Nakawa Division. Margret Kisembo says she has been to Jinja Road Police Station, which controls the area where the crime occurred, but every time she goes there, she does not get the assistance she needs, adding that she does not know the truth about the progress of the investigation. Police say that the file was taken to the prosecutor, who ordered the force to find out the true cause of the death.
