We recently experienced the birth of our son at Kaiser Permanente Hawaii. While a lot of local residents have their babies at Kapiolani Hospital or Queen's Hospital, we are with Kaiser. This is just a quick summary of how things went and what you can expect if you plan on having a baby at Kaiser Hawaii. I also wanted to throw in some bonus Dad tips from my experience. Basically, it's things I wish I had known before this entire experience.
The staff was excellent and they made us feel very comfortable. We stayed a total of three full days and two half days. The nurses were friendly and helped us during our stay. Overall, I was very happy with Kaiser Permanente Hawaii.
