The Steamranger Heritage Railway is the longest preserved railway line in the country and a number of different historic train services operate over the line at different times of the year. The most popular service is the Cockle Train which runs from Goolwa to Victor Harbor and return on Wednesdays and Sundays all year round with additional days during school holidays.
This video features English Electric diesel electric locomotive 507 hauling two centre loaders and a combined baggage/pass car between Victor Harbor and Goolwa with the return of first train for the day on Friday 8 October 2010, followed by lineside shots of the second two services.
