One of my favorite foods in Japan is menchikatsu, so naturally, we had to go to Imahan, which is pretty famous for menchikatsu and other fried foods. Menchikatsu is basically fried ground beef. They are really oily and definitely not healthy, but with the all the walking I planned on doing that day, I thought why not. I also got some korokke, which comes from the French croquette. Fried similarily to menchikatsu, korokke is usually meat, seafood, and mashed potatoes. Both of them were absolutely amazing. There is more to Japan than just sushi, ramen, and okonomiyaki. Get out there and explore!
