Blakely’s writer-story begins with a fantastic 9th grade creative writing teacher (thank you Mrs. Kline!) and is soon followed by the merger of different small stories into her first book. Blakely explains how she is truly a pantser who loves for her characters to surprise her with unexpected story twists and fantasy elements. We also discuss her journey from wanting an agent and traditional publishing to self-publishing her novels. She also shares how she discovers her stories.
