This is a review of my late father's dress watch, the Omega DeVille Quartz. The watch is about 33-34mm and features the Caliber 1350. The watch was purchased new by my father in 1980, to celebrate his 40th birthday perhaps. It was purchased at an authorized dealer in Italy. The watch is a time only watch and the hours and minutes hand have to be set individually. The watch is remarkably accurate after it's most recent servicing perhaps even justifying the high cost of the service. The watch is not marked as water resistant so I have to be extra careful with it! When comparing it to my 2021 @Patek Philippe Calatrava it's certainly smaller but on wrist it still has presence and an elegance given the natural 'dulling' of the gold.
