Located in Patiala, Punjab, Yadavindra Public School is considered among the top run of Indian Public School. Popularly known as YPS Patiala, it is an English Medium, Co-Educational Boarding-cum-Day school founded in 1948 by the late H.H Maharaja Yadavindra Singh. The school prepares students for the ICSE and the Indian School Certificate (Class XII) examinations. YPS is a member of the Indian Public Schools' Conference and is affiliated to CISCE.
YPS has enough play fields for all major of games. These include Hockey, Soccer, Cricket, Tennis and Basketball. YPS has tracks for athletics, four synthetic courts for Tennis, two cemented courts for Basketball, a large arena for horse riding as well as a Swimming pool.
