PlayOn Home is $4.99 per month (But not really since you can only buy 3 month or year long subscriptions) and lets you record an unlimited amount of shows and movies directly to your computer.
PlayOn Cloud lets PlayOn remotely record the shows (On a monthly set fee w/ limited recordings or a pay-as-you-go credit system) that you can download (To your phone via their app).

PlayOn Home is my choice, even if that just means once a year you buy a short subscription and just let your computer rip everything it can while your sub is active.
