Starting the new year strong! I have been struggling with consistency when it comes to uploading new videos (both on this channel and my more gaming-centered channel TheGuyCreates), so I am going to try my best to keep a streak of videos releasing every two weeks. If I mess up the streak then well, just clown on me I guess.
This arrangement of Donut Plains I have wanted to make ever since I discovered how great the tune would adapt to a jazz setting. I was practicing bebop last summer and just for fun I started to practicing implementing lines over this tune, realizing that the changes were super fun to play over. I feel like all of Super Mario Kart's OST could be adapted really well to a jazz combo. Hopefully someday very soon I can get an actual trio/quartet together and make a much more killing version of this arrangement! But for now, enjoy this version of Donut Plains from Super Mario Kart!
