Hundreds of protesters wearing black shirts and waving black flags led by DMK MP Kanimozhi took the Chennai city road by storm protesting against the prime minister narendra modi’s chennai visit here today.

Kanimozhi said, heeding the call made by our leader M K Stalin for state wide protests against central government black flags were hoisted all over tamil nadu and houses. Tamil nadu has become a battlefield. The prime minister narendra modi who participated today’s defence exposition seems not to be listening to the cries of the tamil nadu people, she attacked the prime minister for saying ‘we are only listeners and not lecturers’, she said.

The central government making politics out of Cauvery issue and buying more time is unacceptable and their double games is clearly seen.
At least now the central government must understand tamil nadu's anger and feelings and form cmb otherwise DMK’s protest will continue, she said.
