Loneliness

Описание: I originally uploaded this song as a private video, only for close friends and relatives to view. However, I then decided that it should be made public after all. The song is about the loneliness that Rosalina felt during her 17 weeks of Hospitalization.

She rarely slept at night for many reasons such as being confined to private rooms in wards, away from fellow patients. This affected her to the point where she would stand in the doorway of her room saying “ Hello” to anyone passing her room. She was very appreciative of visitors, but once they had gone she was alone again. Isolated and increasingly ‘lost’.

She lost the motivation to do in hospital, the things she had done before such as watching the Filipino Vloggers on You Tube or chatting to friends on her phone. She remained brave and resilient, and appreciated all that the doctors and nurses did for her.

Once she was told that she would die within a month, she was broken, and died 3 days later. Although, like Rosalina, I have the utmost respect for the NHS and the wonderful people within it, my wife was just so unlucky and unfortunate. No-one to blame but Fate. Hence this protest song – very different in style to my other two songs about Rosalina.
