Adidas Sambas for the first time ever released in 1949 and designed by Adolf Dassler, The founder of Adidas. It's been 74 or 75 years roughly and the sneaker suddenly becomes a trend in 2023.
What is so special about it?
So if we five into the history of Adidas Sambas, It was created by the founder of Adidas himself in 1949. The make was all black, with the brand’s classic three stripes in white, and a gumsole designed to enable soccer players to play on hard and icy surfaces. But back then, it wasn't named Samba or anything like that. Infact in 1950, Fifa world cup took place in Brazil and to step up the marketing game, Adidas named this shoe Samba after a traditional Brazilian dance and music genre.
Fast forward to 2023, Backed up by meaningful collaborations and reknowned celebrities like Frank Ocean and Jonah Hill to Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner, these people made the sambas even more appealing through their influence.
Additionally they were also announced as the sneaker of the year in 2023 and that actually pumped up the global acceptance.
So much so that Sambas are high on demand, high on supply and it just isn't stopping.
Multiple colorways, collaborations are hitting the shelves and the pair is moving real fast.
Infact, Sambas are the second-best-selling Adidas design, with over 35 million pairs sold globally.

This one that i am showing in the video is adidas samba vegan and not the ADIDAS SAMBA OG, So there is going to be a difference in the materials but this is just for representation purpose, so plz ignore that part.

Now this sneaker's MRP is around INR 11k and it is available almost everywhere. Myntra, Ajio, Tatacliq, Nykaa, Limited edt, footlocker, extra butter, veg non veg and superkicks. All selling legit sambas.

But if u want to buy a specific colorway or collab samba that is not available in India, You would need to get in touch with ur plug and source it from abroad and that may go anywhere between 15k to 20k depending on ur size. Infact some of the trusted resellers are selling this samba vegan or og sambas for anywhere around 8 to 9k. But plz be careful while u deal with a reseller.

As far as the review is concerned, The sneaker is a very interesting looking clean pair with a white base, some suede overlays around the toe and black stripes that represent Adidas. U will find a golden samba written alongside the stripe. the inner of the shoe for some people isn't very comfortable bcz it's a simple thin layer without any support or anything. so if u want to wear it in anycase, u might want to add a layer of gel insoles or support insoles to make it softer.
It's majorly made in Vietnam so nothing to worry about the quality aspect.
The outsole has a very good grip with these structures on the rear part and these air suction cups.
Overall i feel it's a must have if u r into collecting sneakers. it gives u a good option to style up with baggy, casuals, party wear and classic outfits quite seamlessly.

Now a lot of people have been of this opinion on the internet and the sneaker community that they are the next pandas, but i would differ here. Pandas had a very different kind of a run. They were just a specific colorway of a dunk whereas sambas in itself is a silhouette that has stood through the test of time and it is beating nike single handedly.
Sambas would always remain classic and in my opinion would always give that clean premium look on your feet no matter what.
If you are buying white ones, Just keep them clean.
