Ganga Aarti in Kashi (Varanasi) is a spectacular and deeply spiritual ritual performed every morning and evening on the banks of the Ganges River.
A Hindu ritual of worship (puja) to express gratitude to the Ganges River, considered a holy mother goddess in Hinduism. It involves offering light (diyas) to the river, accompanied by chanting, music, and prayer.

Primarily at the Dashashwamedh Ghat in evening and at Assi ghat in morning Varanasi, but often also at other ghats along the river. Every morning at sinrise and Every evening at sunset. The timing varies slightly depending on the time of year. Performed by a group of young, saffron-robed priests (pandits).
