Indonesia's MSMEs are the backbone of the national economy, yet empowering millions of businesses with limited resources remains a significant challenge. Through this business case, our team proposes UNITY (Unified iNtervention for Trilemma Yield), an innovative framework designed to help Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) optimize its resource allocation in empowering MSMEs.

UNITY addresses BRI's strategic trilemma between capacity building (supply-side), market access (demand-side), and social value creation by allocating interventions based on each MSME's readiness level within BRI's existing "Naik Kelas" growth ladder. Rather than requiring additional budget or workforce, this framework leverages BRI's existing ecosystem and realigns mantri incentives to deliver more targeted, efficient, and sustainable empowerment.
