DOJ 'Withholding' Some Epstein Documents Says Rep. Subramanyam

The Justice Department said it was releasing another 3 million pages of material related to its probe of the late financier Jeffrey Epstein as the Trump administration seeks to end a months-long firestorm over the government’s investigations of the late, disgraced financier.
Officials said Friday’s release includes more than 2,000 videos and 180,000 images. But the latest trove is unlikely to quell the controversy surrounding the government’s handling of the case, which could remain a political issue heading into November’s elections.
President Donald Trump and his aides have confronted immense pressure to reveal more about information that federal officials gathered during probes into Epstein. 
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said the department has completed its review of “6 million pages being identified as potentially responsive, including department and FBI, emails, interview summaries, images, videos and various other materials,” and released about 3.5 million so far, prompting a fresh round of criticism.
“This is outrageous and incredibly concerning,” said Representative Robert Garcia of California, the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee. “We will begin a thorough review of this latest limited production.”
Friday’s release follows a law passed by Congress last year in response to bipartisan pressure from lawmakers, victims and activists.
