Outlander Aesthetics [s1]

Описание: Hi guys. This is a video I actually started initially nearly two years ago but soon gave up on the project. I decided to come back to it now and finish it after being at a loss for ideas for any Merlin or Supernatural vids and also because I've been in the midst of reading An Echo in the Bone and rewatching the Outlander series in anticipation of the seventh season just starting. (I won't probably be able to see it until it comes out on DVD but nonetheless I'm excited for it.)

So anyway, a bit about this vid. I don't quite recall how I came up with it but I believe it was after I had uploaded my ArMor 'were you at the rock' vid since this vid features a song by the same band. Basically I was listening to the album when I thought how this track, an instrumental rendition of Scarborough Fair, would make a lovely homage to the cinematography of Outlander and so in getting to work on the project decided to comb through several of the episodes from the first season keeping my eyes peeled for any aesthetic scenes. My one condition I had in making this was that I would focus on finding faceless scenes to the best of my ability for the sake of capturing the aesthetic beauty of the cinematography itself. I believe I was also inspired in making this by the individual title cards that capture a cozy snapshot when listing the episode title in each episode of the show. I just always found them so comforting and beautiful.

This edit is a tad different than what I usually put out (in its making, but also the show featured), yet I hope you all enjoy this nonetheless, and perhaps some new viewers may have found my channel through this vid, and if so, welcome!
